International Black Gardeners Day Celebration

International Black Gardeners Day is celebrated the third Saturday of April each year to honor the agricultural legacy and sustainable practices of Black people internationally. Although IBGD is celebrated throughout the world the Black Food and Family Conference will be held in Oklahoma City.

About the Event

The Black Food and Family Conference is held annually on the 3rd Saturday of April in conjunction with the International Black Gardeners Day Celebration. The Black Food and Family Conference seeks to help sustain, train, and uplift the global community of Black people throughout the world while focusing on the traditional and new best practices that are occuring in the International Black World in: sustainable food development, family development, socio-economic development, childbirth, political activism, education, art, and health and wellness.  If you are wanting to be a vendor for the event please fill out your vendors form:
